Google Product Design

Internal line of Pixelbooks and Pixel Tablets

The Chromebook designed internally at Google is called the Pixelbook. This one, The Pixelbook Go, is a lightweight computer with a magnesium enclosure and a nicely textured bottom case. I worked primarily on the flexes (flexible printed circuit boards) that connect the display to the main logic board. These go though the hinge and must withstand thousands of cycles of the computer opening and closing.

As a project lead on a cancelled and thus undisclosed project, I was entirely responsible for the design and integration of an entire device, coordination efforts across many different teams, including Industrial Design, Product Managers, Product Marketing, Manufacturing, Operations, and Electrical Engineering.
