I practiced art before formally studying or training to become a product designer. Drawing always had a balance of technical and artistic aspects that have characterized my work and interests throughout my career.

I use various different sketching techniques to help me in my work. Even today, with all the digital tools I am fluent in, I always keep a paper notebook. Sketching helps me express and develop my ideas.
